Soviet Space Bat is a regular live performer. The very first live performance was at Half Moon in Harrow, London on 29th October 2009. He has performed in several venues in London such as Hope and Anchor, The Drayton Court, 12 Bar, Greenwich University, Carnivale, The Silver Bullet, Cross Kings, Star and Garter, Half Moon, The Hideaway and Bird's Nest to name a few. There have been all sorts of dramatic and interesting shows in the past few years. In 2010, the bat took part in a series of parody shows- performing as "The poor man's Jean Michel Jarre"- in Greenwich. This ultimately resulted in winning the second prize at the Greenwich Comedy Festival held in Greenwich University. The last two of those shows included the multi-coloured lights, radio units, incense sticks and potatoes as originally planned and conceived by the bat. It was labelled by him as "The first ever 4-D live music show in a pub".
2012 has been the most busiest in terms of live shows. A total of 107 shows were played during the entire year while recording the intensive second album- 'While Jill Sleeps...' There was a special performance at the Worcester Music Festival and an Unplugged show. The next main gig will be played at The Alley Cat in Denmark Street, Soho, London on the 1st of February 2013 performing with the likes of artists such as Temba and Zara.
The first gig outside of London was played on 12th April 2012 in Owain Glyndwr pub in Cardiff, Wales and the second one on the 24th of May at The Claude in Cardiff. There are strong plans to play more venues across the UK and further afield in the near future. In fact, a world tour is coming up soon. The first leg of the bat's 'Night Visions' world tour will be starting from February 2013.
